At 170 metres/558 feet, the skyscraper is one of the highest in the area, with 35 floors above ground, three podium levels, and three basement parking levels.

Sheth Estate International Limited launched the project in 2006. Iris Bay, with 387,000 square feet of business and retail space, was completed in 2015. Iris Bay's offices and stores have been developed to the greatest standards and are magnificent structures. The skyscraper, designed by WS Atkins & Partners, has two sides, one facing Sheikh Zayed Road and the other facing the Arabian Gulf."
