Fantastic Ways To Celebrate This Festive Season In Dubai

Christmas And New Year Celebrations In Dubai

Would you like to spend this festive season in Dubai, and how would you spend them? Then this is the article for you! We will tell you about winter vacation activities to do in Dubai, foods to enjoy, places to visit, and more! Read along to discover more and a happy Christmas to you all!

Buy gifts for your loved ones from the festive market.

How could you enjoy this season without buying gifts for your nearest and dearest? After all, drawing a smile on their faces matters most during this season. You can find these gifts at the Dubai Shopping Festivals, so take advantage of this chance! You can visit the Madinet Jumeirah Festive Market from December 15 to December 30. Along the Madinat waterways, Santa Claus will be available to ride on an abra as you decorate gingerbread houses and take the North Pole Train.

Additionally, there will be a live band and other traditional food stalls. A magnificent Winter Garden will also be present in Al Habtoor City through December, along with a full schedule of entertainment, vendors, food trucks, and other activities. In addition, a temporary establishment called Vibes by the Bay has moved onto the waterfront promenade of Dubai Festival City Mall. Visitors will be enticed by daily Imagine presentations, a petting zoo, carnival activities, shops selling toys and trinkets, and eating establishments. It will be a fun time to spend with your kids and loved ones.

Enjoy fun activities with the snow.

What are the snow activities in Dubai? If you are wondering how this is possible, you probably do not know this city well. It is the city that makes the impossible possible! You can have a real winter experience at Ski Dubai with the Winter Wonderland. You can slide down the slopes, meet the penguins, and chill at the Alpine-inspired café while drinking hot chocolate. Could it get any more festive? Sure, it can! You can visit Santa’s grotto after you make sure he is available and has not gone to feed the reindeer.

Enjoy music with live performances at venues.

When it comes to living entertainment, December is incredibly wacky. When the Dubai Opera Big Band performs swing and jazz arrangements of songs during The Sound of Christmas, Christmas classics and carols fill the air at the Dubai Opera. The Russian State Ballet and Opera House will also perform Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker at Dubai Downtown. Children can enjoy themselves at Magic Mountain. One of the city’s most adored children’s performers, Phil’s Starlight Safari, brings tricks and hilarious hilarity to the Theatre by QE2 stage. The Snow Queen, a fantastical spectacle based on Hans Christian Andersen’s 1844 fairy tale, is also playing this December on the QE2. For fans of the movie Elf, the Mall of the Emirates offers you the chance to watch the live musical performance from December 17 to 24

Savour delicious foods on offer.

Food becomes more enjoyable as the weather cools. Therefore, we present you with several options for where to dine and celebrate this festive season:

  • From 15 to December 30, popular city establishments like the three Armani restaurants serve limited-edition meals.
  • On Saturdays, Jumeirah Al Qasr offers Vintage Festive Brunch, which includes a live band playing era-appropriate music.
  • Cirque De Cuisine: the Christmas Edition, a one-of-a-kind holiday spectacle, will take place on December 16 at Atlantis, The Palm. You will tour 10 of the hotel’s restaurants throughout the event, including the Michelin-starred Ossiano and renowned diners like Nobu by Nobu Matsuhisa.
  • You can also sample seasonal flavours from around the world with the Italian-inspired Feste di Natale by Palazzo Versace Dubai. They will serve festive flavours over four courses at their flagship Italian restaurant, Vanitas.
  • With its Feliz Navidad brunch, Santè Ria Dubai will give a Latin American perspective on the holiday season on December 25.

Enjoy the splendid Christmas decorations each and everywhere you go.

Whenever you go to Dubai, you will feel the spirit of Christmas. When visiting the main attractions, such as hotels for a staycation and the most popular malls in Dubai, the decorations will make you go, “Wow!” The main places to view such awe-inspiring decorations are:

  • Mall of the Emirates: You can see the Fashion Dome with its shimmering baubles.
  • Dubai Festival City: You can enjoy the sparking display of Christmas decorations and Santa’s grotto.

Visit places that only operate in winter.

Some of us have been waiting to visit Dubai’s only winter experience this Christmastide. You can start with the Global Village, where you can get handmade gifts and souvenirs from around the world and enjoy foods from around the world. Then, head to the miracle garden to take splendid photos for your social media. With awe-inspiring displays made of flowers and plants, you will have a great time with your kids.

Go to the winter city to get a feel of the real winter.

Expo City Dubai is becoming a fanciful winter wonderland from November 23 to January 2023 this yuletide. There will be a holiday market with a chalet-inspired theme and family-friendly fairground activities. Additionally, there will be gingerbread courses, a tour of a toy factory where kids may each take home a teddy bear, and Santa’s Grotto. In addition, there will be a tonne of holiday-themed foods and beverages available.

Enjoy Christmas movies across screens in JBR.

This holiday season, each weekend in December, several screens will pop up across JBR. And these screens will feature popular Christmas movies: The Christmas Chronicles 2 on December 9 and The Grinch on December 10. The Christmas classics “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2” are played on December 16 and 17, respectively. Now, you still have the chance to catch the final weekend’s movies, which will have Elf (December 23) and Jingle All the Way screenings (December 24).

Enjoy the fireworks on New Year’s Eve.

On New Year’s Eve, you can enjoy mesmerizing views of fireworks from various locations. From Burj Khalifa to Al-Seef, Altantis, and La Mer, you can have opinions that will lighten up your night!
