البطائح هي مدينة تقع في الأطراف الخارجية لإمارة الشارقة ، الإمارات العربية المتحدة. يبلغ عدد سكان المدينة بضع مئات فقط وهي واحدة من أقل البلديات اكتظاظا بالسكان في الشارقة.

يهيمن على التربة من خلال توافق Typic Torripsamments ، متموج إلى سهل متدحرج ، hummocky. تتكون وحدة الخريطة هذه من سهل رملي متموج فوضوي إلى سهل رملي متدحرج يتألف من روابي رملية ذات تضاريس منخفضة ، وغالبا ما تفتقر إلى مورفولوجيا الكثبان الرملية النموذجية. تحدث سهول الانكماش الصغيرة جدا بحيث لا يمكن رسمها بين الأراجيح. تحتوي بعض المنخفضات بين المنخفضات على مساحات صغيرة من الحجر الرملي الجيري.

"Al Bataeh is a town located in outer skirts of the Emirate of Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates. The town only has a population of a few hundred and is one of the least populated municipalities of Sharjah.

 

The soils are dominated by Typic Torripsamments consociation, undulating to rolling plain, hummocky. This map unit consists of a chaotic undulating to rolling sand plain comprising sand hummocks of low relief, often lacking typical dune morphology. Deflation plains too small to map occur amongst the hummocks. Some interdunal depressions contain small areas of calcareous sandstone."
