الذيد هي مدينة في المنطقة الوسطى من الشارقة ، ثالث أكبر إمارة في الإمارات العربية المتحدة. إنها واحة بها مزارع نخيل واسعة تسقى بواسطة أنفاق قديمة تسمى الأفلاج ، والتي تجلب المياه من جبال الحجر القريبة. تشتهر الذيد أيضا بمزارع الفاكهة والخضروات التي تنتج الفراولة والليمون الحامض والجوافة والمانجو والمزيد. يوجد في الذيد مضمار لسباق الهجن ، حيث تقام السباقات في أشهر الشتاء ، عادة يومي الخميس والجمعة. يوجد في الذيد أيضا سوق الجمعة الذي يبيع الفخار المحلي والسجاد والنباتات والأسماك المجففة وغيرها من السلع. الذيد هو المكان الذي يمكنك فيه تجربة الثقافة والطبيعة الأصيلة للشارقة.

Al Dhaid is a town in the Central Region of Sharjah, the third largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates. It is an oasis with extensive date palm plantations that are watered by ancient tunnels called aflaj, which bring water from the nearby Hajar Mountains. Al Dhaid is also known for its fruit and vegetable farms, which produce strawberries, limes, guava, mangoes, and more. Al Dhaid has a camel race track, where races are held in the winter months, usually on Thursdays and Fridays. Al Dhaid also has a Friday Market, which sells local pottery, carpets, plants, dried fish, and other goods. Al Dhaid is a place where you can experience the authentic culture and nature of Sharjah.
